S.O.S- Study Over Sleep: Episode 1

This semester so far, my grades have been great.  When I started studying again I was extremely nervous, because it had been 3 years since I graduated from my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, and all I could think was, that I wouldn’t be able to have time to study, because I work full time (40 hours a week) and that wasn’t the case the first time around.

When I first was in college my study habits weren’t the greatest (thankfully I always had good grades, but they could have been better). This semester I am taking 3 classes that are requirements for a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, I am determined to have good grades and hopefully start my Masters in January.  So, in this post I will be sharing with you one study tip (there will be more in the future), to better grades.

Study Everyday

Something that has been working for me is studying everyday.  I have created the habit of reviewing what was giving in class that night, before I go to sleep, and on Saturdays (that I have more time) I study everything that was giving that week.  Whats great about this technique is that everyday you reinforce what was giving that day and if you have a doubt about the material, you can bring it to the next class.  Also, when you review all your notes once a week, when you study for the exam, you have a feeling of what you already know and what you have to study more, and you can concentrate on that.

I hope you enjoy this tip.

Never stop working for your dreams.
