The Look: Fall Dream

I have to start by saying that I cheated… If you read my Makeup Wishlist (you can read it here), you know a mentioned a beautiful eye shadow palette by Huda Beauty was one of the things I wanted to buy myself at the end of the semester. Well… that didn’t happened…

Ok, but I can defend myself! It’s just that I love Fall, it’s no secret. And that palette just screamed Fall to me. And how could I wait until almost Christmas to buy it?! I know you understand.

That beautiful Huda Beauty Eye Shadow Palette in Coral Obsessions was the inspiration behind this gorgeous Fall Dream makeup look I created.

Since it was the first time using this eyeshadow palette I started with the eyes, in case I had any fall out, but it wasn’t something major, the shadows are very creamy. The first shade I used was the lightest color of the palette, the tan shade, in my crease and then to start building it, I applied the burnt orange shade also in the crease. To darken the look a bit, I applied the orange-brown shade to the otter corner of the lid, creating an cat eye effect with it. To make the cat eye effect more dramatic I applied a dark cranberry shade from The Jaclyn Hill Palette.

The most exciting part of this look, for me, was the upper lid area. I applied concealer from the inner corner to the center of the eye to make the colors pop even more. Then I applied the yellow shade on the inner corner of the eye trying to leave the center of the eye without color . To finish it I applied the glittered yellow-orange-red shade with my finger in the center of the eye. It was the cherry on the top.

In the lower lid I started with the yellow shade and gradually darkened it with the burnt orange, brown and last the dark cranberry shade. Lastly I applied my mascara and I was done with the eyes.

In the face I applied my foundation, concealer, and powder. I contoured my face and baked under my eyes and under my cheek contour to make it more dramatic. I finished with a little bit of a luminous golden-coral blush and pinky highlighter.

To finish and bring everything together, plus to take advantage of the Fall season, I went with a dark wine shade.

Never stop dreaming,
